What do we pay for a palladium 25 roubles Russia?
Based on the palladium rate of this moment, €33.93 per gram of fine material. As of:
| Variant | Fine palladium | Total weight | We pay |
|---|---|---|---|
| 25 roubles | 31.104 g | — | €1,013.15 |
This price applies regardless of the year and the mint. With a rare year or exceptional condition the collector’s value can be higher than the material value – then we say so, even if that means you are better off not selling us the coin.
How we arrive at this amount
A coin is precious metal in a recognisable shape. What it fetches therefore depends almost entirely on the fine weight: the weight of pure palladium it contains.
This coin is 999‰ pure, so the fine weight and the total weight are almost the same.
Commemorative coins on Russian history and the Russian voyages of discovery. The Ballerina is also a palladium 25 roubles, but has its own page.
Not sure whether your coin is genuine? We check weight, diameter, thickness and – if in doubt – the density with X-ray analysis. Non-destructive: your coin stays intact.

History on palladium
From 1988 the Soviet Union issued 25-rouble coins in palladium, with subjects from Russian history: Prince Vladimir, Ivan III, Peter the Great. Russia continued the line with series on the Russian voyages of discovery, featuring the ships Nadezhda, Neva, Mirny and Vostok.
All coins in these series weigh a troy ounce and carry their fineness in the die.
What counts when you sell
