Which sizes of the Silver Lunar do you buy?

Are some Lunar years worth more than the silver?
Yes, they can be. The series runs through a different zodiac animal each year and certain issues are sought after by collectors well beyond their metal value. We assess that side separately from the silver weight and offer you whichever of the two figures is higher.
Should I keep the capsule and the box?
Yes, bring them along. For an ordinary bullion coin the packaging changes nothing, but on a scarce year an original capsule and certificate help establish the issue and support a collector’s price. Damaged packaging is never a reason to leave a coin at home.
Do I need to bring identification?
Yes, valid photo identification is required for every purchase: a passport, identity card or driving licence. Dutch law obliges precious metal buyers to record who they are dealing with, so we note your details before paying out. Without it we cannot complete the transaction, however small the amount.
When do I get my money?
Straight away. Smaller amounts are paid in cash at the counter the moment you accept the offer, and larger sums go by bank transfer that reaches your account within 24 hours. You never have to leave your coins with us and wait for a valuation to follow.
