Archaeology in gold
The first Luxembourg gold 10 euro appeared in 2004 and shows the parade mask of a Roman officer, found near Hellange. In 2006 the boar of the Titelberg followed, a Celtic figurine. The coins weigh 3.11 grams of 999 gold and carry the portrait of the Grand Duke.
