Do the tools work with current rates?
Yes. All the calculating aids use the same rate source as our price pages, which is refreshed every minute. That means the figure you see here is the same figure a valuer sees on the screen at the location.
Are the details I enter stored?
No. The calculating aids work entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere and nothing is kept, not even certificate numbers. Only when you go on to book an appointment and include the details do they reach us.
How reliable is the outcome?
It is an indication based on what you enter. We only establish the definitive offer with your piece in our hands, which is free of charge and without obligation. Weight, fineness and non-metal parts can all differ from your input.
