A registration duty, calibrated scales and recognised refineries. Everything is there to be seen – you may always ask for it.
Precious metal trade registration
Legally required of dealers in precious metals. With every purchase we record the identity of the seller and keep a continuous register.
Calibrated weighing equipment
All scales are calibrated and checked periodically. The calibration certificate is available for inspection at every location – you may always ask to see it.
Recognised refinery
The precious metal we buy goes to a refinery with LBMA recognition. That keeps the chain traceable, from your piece of jewellery to new fine gold.
Insured transport
Everything you hand over to us is covered by our transport insurance during carriage and examination. You receive a signed receipt for it.

Moet ik een afspraak maken om te verkopen?
Een afspraak is niet verplicht: u kunt bij elk van onze 45 vestigingen in Nederland en België gewoon binnenlopen. Met een afspraak zit er wel altijd een specialist voor u klaar en bent u meestal binnen dertig minuten geholpen. Een afspraak maakt u online of telefonisch.
Welke legitimatie heb ik nodig om te verkopen?
U heeft een geldig legitimatiebewijs nodig: een paspoort, identiteitskaart of rijbewijs. Wij zijn wettelijk verplicht uw gegevens te registreren bij de inkoop van edelmetaal, sieraden en horloges. Zonder geldig legitimatiebewijs mogen wij daarom niets inkopen.
Wanneer krijg ik mijn geld na de verkoop?
U ontvangt uw geld direct nadat u akkoord bent gegaan met de taxatie. Kleinere bedragen betalen wij contant uit; grotere bedragen staan binnen 24 uur per bank op uw rekening. U ondertekent eerst het inkoopbewijs, daarna volgt de uitbetaling.
Wat kost een taxatie bij XGOUD?
Niets: elke taxatie bij XGOUD is gratis en vrijblijvend. U hoort ter plekke wat uw goud, sieraden of horloge waard zijn en beslist daarna zelf of u verkoopt. Ziet u van verkoop af, dan betaalt u dus ook niets.
